this is a great hotel. the pool area is one of the mostbeautiful we have stayed at. rooms are very nice only draw back is a narrow bath shower area. we stayed two nights to decompress after a 30 hour flight highly recommend free shuttle to down town but make sureyou have reservations to and from. other wise you take a taxi which are cheap four dollars

We visited Tentrem again for our family vacation and it didn't disappoint. Breakfast is still the best in Jogja, vast choices, comfortable, great internet, very family friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I traveled to central Java as a solo female to run Borobudur marathon.
There are several 5 star resorts in the area, I spent a significant amount of time making a decision and I am now more than happy with my hotel choice, Le Temple Borobudur.
The grounds are immaculate, designed to perfection with a piece of art or plant or just another unique stupa at every corner, an ideal place for a short mindful walk to start or to end your day.
Le Table, is probably the most serene and beautifully...

We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. The restaurant's range of food choices...

We spent 2 nights at the Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel and loved it! It was a convenient place to stay for a morning Borobudur Temple tour (only ~15 min to the temple by Grab taxi). The entire property was lovely - from the spacious rooms to the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Staff were very welcoming and always helpful when we had questions. Overall, I'd highly recommend it!

This hotel is in a good location close from jn kaliurang where many restaurants and cafes are. I specially liked the swimming pool on the roof top where I could see Mt Merapi and Jogja city view in the pool.
