"Situated in a stunning location. The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking. Check in was quick and efficient. We booked this hotel as we were taking part in a 1am Snowdon walk. It was literally two minute walk to the Snowdon train station, which was our meeting point. The village with shops and restaurants was only a few minutes walk away. Our room was clean and comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and much appreciated after a night hike. Looking to return for a couple of days to relax and to explore the area a little more. "

"The hotel all staff are amazing the food was excellent and so was the breakfast. The spa was great but the hotel it's self is looking tiered definitely needs a lick of paint especially the bedrooms. Thanks for the staff putting a chocolate muffin in the room for my wife's birthday "

"This hotel is built into an old castle. You can walk around the ancient castle sections and there's information about the history which is all really interesting. Plenty of parking and lovely grounds. Nice restaurant and bar and spacious bedroom."

"Very comfortable stay in one of the lodges. Great location with lots to see and do in the area, especially if you like outdoor activities. Snowdon hikes are a 15/30 minute drive away depending on what route you take up the mountain. Having free access to the swimming pool and hot tub is wonderful after a days hiking. Only negative was the quality and quantity of the breakfast was a bit lacking. "

"Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Good food available in the evening and good selection of cereals, cheese, pastries etc for breakfast. Expedia appeared to have messed up the booking but the hotel was flexible in accommodating us and finding a room."

"Hotel really nice, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only a couple of things thst could be changed....tea spoons instead of wooden stirrers, biscuits in room, dog bed and bowl would be a nice touch too when u are staying with your pooch."
