"I did not like the apartment at all. The door handle fell off into two pieces one on the bathroom side and other on the bedroom side of the door. I got locked in the bathroom and my wife on the bedroom side. Took us 15 or 20 minutes to put the handle together thru the hole for the handle and to get it working again. The TV did not work at all!! No breakfast was offered. I did not not see or talk to a live person. Only furnished us a combination to the apartment by text message. Terrible...

"We arrived very late and the door was open with instructions for us. They left a thermos of coffee and tea and kettle for a herbal calming tea since we had a 9 hour drive to arrive here. Appreciated the flexibility. thank you"

"The location of the hotel is ideal, it is on the Main Street with all restaurants and bars. Although it is a central location, the street was EXTREMELY loud until about 4am. The room was so hot and we could not leave the window open due to the noise. The bed was very uncomfortable and the shared bathrooms weren’t the cleanest. "

"The only thing negative is the listing showed “Laundry”. That usually means a laundry room that one can do there own laundry. This was you call and the family comes to get it for a fee. It’s lovely in the open country and easy to get to. "

"We were greeted by Elizabeth, the owner, who showed us our immaculate accomodations with kitchen, breakfast and lounge areas. Breakfast was the best we had while in Iceland. Elizabeth shared her homemade and bread, cakes and cookies with us. All were outstanding. We took an evening stroll by friendly horses. Adjacent to the mountains, the views were stunning. Beds were comfy, rooms soundproof and dark. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again. "

"Room was adequate, clean, no frills. But the common area in a remodeled barn is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, a drink, or play a card game, read or spend time relaxing and chatting. Large windows frame an unbeatable view of the mountain valley with a picturesque river running through. A great get away!"

"Last minute reservation. The landlord came out at late evening on a short notice. Room was clean and shower was hot. Overall great!"
