"If I praise too much, I'll not be able to find rental time windows in the future, so I'll keep it short. This is the best place to rent in coastal Down East Maine...full stop. It is for us, at least. Decide what you want before you start searching for a summer rental: A camp...minimal accomodations, perhaps even an out house; A cottage...more or less complete with a small home feel; A summer home...this is what Mainly is...complete and comfortable in every way, and you can simply let the rest of the world slide off your shoulders. Clean, comfortable, accomodating, welcoming, highly useful, everyting works well. Enough said."

"My extended family stayed for three nights. We all enjoyed the house; the youngest was 20 and the oldest was 88. There was enough room for us to spread out, and the property was equipped with all the comforts that we needed. It was just what we needed."

"Our second visit to Eastport. A very interesting town, great walking. We love this cottage as it is very well equipped convenient to Main Street. Hopefully back next year. Better later in May though as many businesses and the Rosevelt site on Campebello island were not yet open."
