La Voile du Rocher
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment decor and the view from the balcony is even better than in the photos. Very well equipped kitchen. Good location and an easy stroll to Baie des Citrons beach and restaurants. One thing to keep in mind, at the time of writing there is still some construction work happening on the remaining phases of the La Voile du Rocher apartments, but the noise wasn't too intrusive during our stay. I'd stay here again if coming back to Noumea."

"Staff were amazing - Super lovely and helpful. Unfortunately there were major renovations being undertaken in reception and the pool and restaurant were closed, none of which we knew until we got there. Had we known, we would probably have booked elsewhere"

"The room was a nice size, clean and a good base for 4 days in Noumea. The location was out of the city area in more of an industrial area so you will need a car. There was a good amount of parking on site and across the road. There a s good supermarket only a few minutes walk. The main aspect to note is that while the Hotels.com and on the hotel website seem to indicate washing facilities within in the room - these are a NOT free. The writing on both websites are misleading. The cost to use the washer and dryer located in the bathroom were at an additional cost per day. Yes there is a kitchen, but it is the bare minimum equipment in terms of being useful. There is not even a sharp knife."

"Very enjoyable experience staying at the Gondwana Hotel in Noumea. The staff were excellent; friendly, welcoming and helpful. The morning breakfast was enjoyable and the location provided an excellent base from which to explore this lovely part of New Caledonia."

"Liked being away from the city and close to the Mangroves walk. Loved the little shop so a night in with snacks and meals was easy. Very helpful staff even if little English was spoken, we managed :-)"
