We woke each morning to the quiet and still, and views over the valley and soaked in the history and beauty. The hosts were amazing and we could not have asked for more. "Relaxing, peaceful, remote location, which can be easily accessed from Pisa / Florence by car. Fantastic views across the valley. Hosts were great at communicating, before and during the stay. Would recommend for an older family that wants to get away from it all. "

"A beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location. The house was clean, tidy and well equipped with comfortable beds and ample space to sit both inside and out for dining and relaxing. The views are quite spectacular and waking every morning to open the shutters to this was breathtaking. The metato was superb and made a great space for my sister and her family to stay in, containing separate bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. 7 of us stayed very comfortably within the main house and 3 in the metato with room for another. The pool area was especially relaxing, with a good sized clean pool, a table chairs and sun loungers. Most importantly, there were sun umbrellas and plenty of shade in all the seating areas. Plenty of board games and books are provided and the sitting room is a perfect space for all sitting together. The local Spar provides most of the basics and is around an 8 minute drive away.We cannot recommend this property enough, Mike was brilliant at communicating and sent us all the information we needed for a very smooth stay. We were all very impressed and sad to leave this little piece of Tuscan heaven."

"We were a party of 8 and we all enjoyed our holiday. The property is lovely. The pool is small but great for cooling down. The oven is quite old but was ok. We didnt use it that much. The house was great. The area is beautiful. It look us a while to find as we missed the turning for the property on the narrow windy roads but soon got used to these. 1st time hiring a car abroad for my daughter and she coped with them. Lucca was lovely and not too far away. I would definitely recommend. The only negative was the holiday went too quickly."
