"The property was very private and beautiful. The hot tub and sauna were a nice bonus. The solar shower was chilly, but refreshing after a sauna! We took out the paddleboat and caught fish. We used the firepit each night and the stars were bright and breathtaking. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property to others who don't mind not having running water in the cabin."

"What I didn’t like, I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it. I got in at midnight and had to go before 8 AM. I slept like a baby. The short stay was not the fault of the motel, it was my own."

"The property was like new! We had a great time and the hot tub being in a screened in porch is such a treat! Having access to a pontoon for fishing was amazing and the weather was perfect for a lake day. The hosts Todd and Stacey were so nice and attentive to any questions we had."

"What a treat for us three sisters and our mates to spend several days together, especially since two of us live in different areas of VA and the other in MN! Our modern rustic cabin was well thought out, clean, and new. We enjoyed the "just right temperatured" hottub after a full day spent in Itasca State Park. The grill and kitchen provided good opportunities to cook tasty meals. Walking down to Long Lost Lake which is within sight, and hearing a loon and a possible muskrat swimming before sunset, was a memorable experience. And then, spending time wading in the headwaters of the Mississippi River in the Park was such a special treat."
