"Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. "Our first two weeks in Arezzo and certainly this property exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal and special thanks to our host Stefano who welcomed us with open arms. He is a gracious host and an excellent instructor in making homemade pasta. He was most helpful suggesting sites to visit and excellent dining recommendations at every turn. "The property is beautiful. It lacks some basic things like enough toilet paper, facial tissue and an iron. We chose to use Sunday as a relaxing pool day and a large family with several children who were not guests arrived and spent the day. They were so loud we stayed away from the pool until they left, late afternoon. We had trouble contacting the manager but that was probably a phone issue and when we emailed the host he responded to assist. My daughter figured out how to contact her. Overall,...

Wonderful well location hotel with great staff
"Wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Continentale in Arezzo, IT. We had a quiet comfortable room in a hotel that is a 10 mins. walk from the train station in one direction and a 10 min. walk to the old and historic part of town in the other direction. Very nice breakfast in the AM fir a reasonable price with very attentive staff. Front desk staff were always helpful. So much to see in Arezzo (medici Fortress, Archeological Museum, the Cathedral and Church of San Francesco. A good location for our day trips to towns of Cortona, Pienza and Montepulciano. "
