"Lovely view over Bras D'or lake. Dining on site after a long drive was most welcome. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean, but a little dated. Internet service was very slow....and one of the reasons for a 4 rather than 5 star rating."

Baddeck is centrally located on the island. We found it to be accommodating to visitors without being touristy. We loved eating at the Telegraph Hotel, the High Wheeler. the Freight Shed. Don't miss the Ceilidh nearby.

Baddeck is a wonderful little town, in a beautiful setting with very friendly people. We had 2 incredible meals at the Freight Shed! The location at the start of the Cabot Trail is ideal!
