DO NOT STAY AT THIS VILLA unless
a) You are extremely fit
b) you have no children accompanying you
c) you do not want wi-fi
d) you are happy with intermittent water supply
There is no vehicular access and access is via a ten minute (minimum) hike up a steep, dangerous and overgrown path. It is impossible at night or if it rains or if it is very hot. We bought a torch as none were provided and the night hike was too dangerous to repeat.
The stairs internally have no handrail and are double normal stair height. The pool is lovely but two metres deep and you cannot stand. There is a ledge running along the length of the pool but no steps.
There is a steep drop around the terrace so unsafe for children. The children’s bedroom has direct access to the pool and cannot be locked from the inside so children can open the door and go straight to the pool.
Despite a wi fi password being provided, there is no wi-fi. We reported this and the agent would not remedy this.
The bed broke in the night. The second bedroom was uninhabitable due to a foul smell.
We had no water for two nights out of three.
The TV does not work except for DVD’s. There is no access to satellite channels as advertised.
There is live woodworm in the rafters of the second bathroom which produces fresh droppings into the bath every day.
We raised the water, tv, bed and wi-fi issues to the managing agent who provided no solution.
