Weidenhausen, a small district of Bad Berleburg in the Wittgenstein region, is on the edge of the Hochsauerland region. The Kahler Asten is only 29 kilometers away. The surrounding area is a paradise for hikers, with numerous trails running through it, including the famous Rothaarsteig.
