"Property is right on the beach and the staff was very friendly. We didn't see any bugs, the AC worked, and the bed was okay. Those are the pros. The cons... I was disappointed overall. This is not what i expected from a Wingate by Wyndham property. It wasn't the cleanest. The hallways, stairs, and walls were all a little grotty. We only stayed one night and so it was bareable, but i will not be reserving this hotel in the future for our stays in Galveston."

"It’s older and no elevator but for one night before a cruise it was clean and staff was great! The pool was clean and grandkids enjoyed swimming. Leaving our car there for free made it even better. The shuttle service was perfect for only $20 round trip. We will sympathize there again for sure."

"We reserved 2 rooms. In both of them the water would not drain away at the bathtub properly (it would stay collected at the bottom while showering). In one of the rooms the faucet for the shower was very old fashion and hard to turn on/off hte water. The A/C didn't work properly in 1 of the rooms. Rooms were not so clean. Overall it needs an update on the rooms. Convenient location to visit Nasa."
