There is a often an audible foghorn, which we personally loved, but a possible consideration for exceptionally light sleepers or those sensitive to noise. Plan to visit again!"

"Overall, it was very homey plus a few surprises like freezies in the ice box and side by side recliner chairs for TV viewing. Great view from the spacious deck. Suggestions would be air conditioning and outside umbrellas for shade. Chipmunks wrestling was entertaining! Would recommend to others."

"This property was very beautiful as was the hospitality of Magdela. We would highly recommend staying here. The tranquility mixed with solitude was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. "Cute and clean house . Nicely stocked with cooking pans, dishes, coffee,sugar and other dry spices. Great for area day trips. The local restaurant "The Kitchen" was the best place to eat. Enjoyed the short walk to the inlet watching the tide going in and out.The side deck was a nice addition. It did rain so we sat in the house and the couch was broken and very uncomfortable. "We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. "The apartment was beautifully decorated and you can immediately tell the hosts have put much thought and love into the space. The beach access is lovely and we spent a lot of time exploring the shoreline. The little touches made the space. Firewood and smore kits, the popcorn and cookies and the kids names on the sign were well loved and appreciated. It is a beautiful spot with a short drive to all amenities but far enough away to relax in the quietness of it all."
