Hôtel Gabriel

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gabriel! The location could not be better—it's situated right in the shuttle zone (La Caserne), making the trip to the Mont effortless, whether taking the free shuttle or enjoying the scenic walk along the causeway. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, offering fantastic local recommendations and seamless access codes for the area. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and a great way to start the morning. Staying here made our experience at Mont Saint-Michel completely stress-free. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!"

"The bed was a little uncomfortable, but that may have just been our bed. The location for visiting Mont Saint Michel cannot be beat, it’s the closest hotel without staying on the island itself. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel."

"Make sure you get the code for the parking. You need to stop at the Relais before you cross the bridge. They just check you in and give you a map. You need to get the map at reception of Les Terrace. It’s confusing but eventually you get there. It was fun staying on the island."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Mont Saint Michel. The location is excellent and makes visiting Mont Saint-Michel incredibly convenient. The shuttle stop is right outside the hotel, making it very easy to get to the abbey. Our room was clean, comfortable, and newly renovated, and the bathroom was particularly impressive—modern, spacious, and fantastic overall. The hotel’s restaurant is also very convenient and offers a great selection of dishes. The only downside for us was that the vegetarian options were somewhat limited. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable hotel with a great location, especially if you’re planning to visit Mont Saint-Michel. Highly recommended!"

"I had a warm welcome and the gentleman at reception put my medication in a fridge for me. The lift was handy with bags, the corridors were very dark with light on timers. The double room was confortable big enough as I was by myself. I would have loved a complimentary bottle of water., because I’d walked from the station."
