"Hotel was generally positive. Service wasn't as enthusiastic as I was used to in other hotels in Vietnam. Staff seem confused that I wasn't in a suit or business casual, but had the indecency to check in wearing a tshirt and khakis, regardless of being on the other side of planet from my passport issuer. Breakfast buffet was fine. Grand cafe prices were treble to quintuple what they are on the street. Nice view of the river, though. When I left I requested a taxi, and the doorman kindly set me...
