"This home was absolutely amazing—peaceful, relaxing, and impeccably maintained. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it's the little touches that truly make this place special. From providing birdseed and corn to attract the deer to having extra amenities available for guests traveling with their dogs, Bob and Ann have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming experience.The river was beautiful, and we even enjoyed a little fly fishing during our stay. Everything about this property made it the perfect getaway. Bob and Ann have created something truly special, and we are so grateful they shared their home with us. We can't wait to return!"

"I have been staying here for 5 years in a cabin and have always been pleased with the property. This year was different. The outside of the cabin looked rundown. Chipped paint around the door, and a pane of glass was broken and taped. Not a great impression. The cabin was clean but the toilet lid was old and stained even though a brand new walkin shower had been installed. No hand towel available and there was an iron with no board. I hope our next stay is better."

"Sweet, sweet experience. The river is mesmerizing and the beauty of the tall plentiful trees and pastures that surround offer a renewing experience. Home is comfy and decor is fascinating. Always some new artifact to discover. Comfort and thoughtfulness abound! Plentiful supplies at fingertips!The charming walk on the lane past stunning properties provides a refreshing pastime when added to the splendor of the river. All together convenient to services of every kind.Great retreat for family or just two……you won’t be disappointed!"

"Dinner was excellent with great service. Breakfast was ok. Picnic lunches were good. Place needs a deep cleaning. King room bed was comfortable but the floor carpet was super dirty. Guests walking upstairs generates lots of squeaking. Summer room was dirty with very old sofas. We felt walking around chairs were dusty and the property should be in better condition given the prices."

"House needs serious deep cleaning and updating. Mouse droppings in kitchen draws. Air vents packed with dust. Downstairs musty! Cobwebs and dead bugs and stink bugs on floors and ceiling corners. Bedroom walls covered in dust. Deck unsafe and needs repair. Limited view of lake. Deck covered with debris (we had to ask TN family member to bring over a blower so we could clear the debris). Deck furniture broken and falling apart. Driveway is at 20% grade and crumbling! Unsafe to walk up or down! Trees and bushes overgrown onto driveway - impassible without scratching vehicles. I will not be renting this home again when visiting TN next."
