"I had a good one night stay at Joesepps Hotel am Hallhof, which is a short walk from Memmingen train and bus stations and rbe town centre. I was given a warm welcome from a lady receptionist, who recommended Joesepps Brauhaus along the road for dinner. The single room was quite small, but nicely presented. I thought ths shower was good, decent water pressure. One small negative was that TV had no English language channels programmed. Breakfast was buffet style and enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel."

"This hotel has 2 buildings. The older, more traditional one and the more modern, new one. They both have rooms. Be aware that the rooms in the new building are a little different, especially for USA travelers. There are no separate beds. All the beds are queen size and there is only one bed per room. I really like the rooms in this new building. However, the bathroom is completely opened with a see-through shower and the door for the toilet is a glass door with half of it frosted. Just something to be aware if traveling with a companion that is not a romantic partner. I really like the hotel and the staff. "

"The hotel was in a perfect location, at the front of the old city. Very easy walking, very safe and had a great restaurant. This place was fabulous, except for the unfortunate event of the lift breaking down and we had to walk our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Not their fault. Parking was in the back, all went well. Lovely place."
