"Perfect place to stay while exploring the East side of Glacier National Park. Ken and Gena are excellent hosts. They were a wealth of information about the area’s sights, hikes, and restaurants which was helpful. The cabin was super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. We stayed 5 nights in early July and spent our days in the Many Glacier area of the park plus one day in Canada to see Waterton Lakes NP area. It was nice to come back to the Hiker’s Retreat each night to cook dinner and relax before the next busy day. It was great having a comfortable King size bed, WiFi for research, texting and calling, a large beautiful bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen. We also used the grill one night and Gena brought us some fresh sugar snap peas from a local farmer’s market. This cabin is about a mile down a dirt road in a quiet rural lake neighborhood but is close (easy drive) to Babb and the St.Mary’s entrance and Many Glacier entrance of the park. There were several restaurants and a grocery store and gas station within 10 miles. Ken and Gena live behind the cabin so are close if you need anything but respect your privacy. Would definitely recommend!"
Elk Willows Home -Wildlife & Breathtaking Views-Minutes to Glacier East Entrance
10/10 Excellent
"All communications with the property managers was flawless, before and during. They met us very quickly as we parked are car and gave us all the information we needed. The house was spotless. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The views were endless. We even were lucky enough to see the herd of elk, deer and the bear that frequent their property. We would highly recommend this listing for all of the above and for the proximity to GNP and Waterton. If we ever come for another trip, this would be first on our list for a place to stay!"
Miista'k Mountain Cabin -- Modern Cabin -- 15 Min to Glacier East Entrance
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in 5 different places on our vacation in Montana, and the Miista'k Mountain Cabin was my family's favorite! Cheyenne and Andrew were wonderful hosts and greeted us when we arrived. The house was comfortably decorated and you could tell there was a lot of thought put into the cabin. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and everything was of very nice quality. Everything that I needed was there! The bedding and towels were very comfortable, as well. We enjoyed visiting the alpacas and horses at night and sitting out on the patio to look at the beautiful view. The location was perfect for our trip into Many Glacier. We were all sad to leave the ranch!"
Spectacular Views! Minutes from Many Glacier and St. Mary's!
10/10 Excellent
"This was the exceptional place to stay for our vacation to the east side of Glacier National Park and Waterton. Easy access to all entry points on the east side and Logan’s Pass. The mountain range view of Glacier is spectacular (inside the home and on the wrap around porch) and a perfect to relax and recharge. The house was exceptionally clean, and well stocked with kitchen supplies. There were lovely added touches of a fresh floral arrangement, locally made breakfast treat, and local coffee. The hosts truly thought of everything and were very kind and responsive to any needs. After hiking and exploring during the day, we came back to the house and enjoyed all the amenities; grilling, playing boardgames, the sauna, watching movies, sitting around the outdoor gas fire pit roasting s’mores, outdoor shower, and relaxing watching the sunset over the mountain range. We would highly recommend staying here and will rebook when returning to Glacier."
Kia'a'yo Bear Cabin -- Modern Cabin -- 15 Min to Glacier East Entrance
10/10 Excellent
"Location was beautiful and the place was clean and had the basic necessities needed for a great stay. The owners were super helpful and offered to let us meet their animals which we appreciated. It’s very easy to get to Many glacier! Wish we knew we couldn’t drink the water before coming but the local store had plenty to buy. "
On the shores of Ducklake only minutes from Glacier Park, and Waterton Park park
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at Abby and Anna’s lovely loft so much, we plan to go back someday. They provide their guests with everything you can think of to make your stay fabulous- Even on our last day I was still finding surprises in the cupboards. It’s peaceful, secluded and there are beautiful views from every window. If you plan to visit Glacier or just want to fish and relax, stay here! Be aware the road is rough (out of their control) and you need to take it slow, But we managed it with a Honda Accord. Highly recommend!"
