Top Azure Mountain Trailhead Hotel Reviews
Prescott House ADK
8/10 Good
"No in-room bathroom was an unpleasant surprise. We booked on hotels.com and the listing just said ‘queen bed room’ without mentioning that many of these rooms do not have a bathroom in the room. (The property website is more clean/honest.) Showering in a dormitory-style shower room at the other end of the building was uncomfortable. There was a half-bath near our room that was nice but you can’t bathe in it. Would not have booked if we had known the room did not have a bathroom inside of it. The property was lovely and convenient to our needs. The room and the bathroom down the hall were basic but clean."
Trailhead by Weekender
8/10 Good
"Very good bargain for the money. I bet it would be more fun with the pool open:) The self-check-in was messed up by Hotels.com, but when we called staff from parking lot, the person was very helpful. Comfortable bed. Good location. Loved being able to open bottom of window for fresh air. Obviously remodeled recently. Nice job. Slight scent that someone has smoked in the room, even though it's a no-smoking room. Nice Amazon echo and bed lighting. LARGE bed (king)."
A True Rustic Cabin with Private Access to Bass Lake and Hiking Trails
10/10 Excellent
"If you are looking for a rustic, relaxing, quiet stay to unwind and breath in the crisp, clean mountain air, then you NEED to stay here! The beds are comfy, the cabin is rustic and warm. The front porch looks over the water and when you wake up in the morning and the sun is streaming into the windows, you make a cup of coffee and then stroll out onto the porch to sit and take in all the sounds of the woods around you while gazing out over the view and you sink into your chair and just breath in and realize how beautiful this world is! This is the place to do that! We stayed and visited Lake Placid and then the Wild Center and it was the perfect spot to unwind after. Check-in and out was a breeze and communication was wonderful. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you! :)"

The Dax Lodge and Cabins

"It was close to the lake and The Wild Center. Clean, modern room. Bed was firm but comfortable. Didn't get any hair conditioner 😞. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but it looked very inviting."
