Hotel Silken Ciudad de Vitoria

"Walking distance to all Gasteiz places we wanted to see. They have a nice breakfast selection before we began our busy days. Rooms were clean but hot. They turn off the AC in the shoulder seasons. Opening window helps, but there is a lot of street noise. Room has fridge (minibar—pay for what you take), a safe, and a small electric water kettle with tea and instant coffee packets. They have a small bar with pintxos at the entrance. Small additional menu but check times with the employee in the bar as the chef is not always available. It is not walking distance to the main bus intermodal station if that helps anyone. You will need to take another bus/tram to get closer to the hotel."

"Great location, lovely and clean. There are two things which let it down and could easily be resolved; 1) nowhere to leave our bags. We arrived early and the person on the intercom refused our request to leave our bags a couple of hours ahead of the check in time. Have never had this before and was most unhelpful and tiring to have to carry them round 2) there was no shower screen or curtain meaning the whole bathroom got wet when we had a shower"

"We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features."
