"Svatma is a unique property filled with rich heritage architecture and authentic artifacts. Management has done a commendable job preserving its historic character while incorporating modern amenities. The gardens and surrounding grounds are also impeccably maintained.
Breakfast was a highlight—we enjoyed an authentic South Indian spread with fresh fruits and juices, and the chef made a personal effort to greet us.
However, there is room for improvement in housekeeping to truly make the experience top-notch. Surfaces could be wiped down more thoroughly to remove visible fingerprints, and the mineral deposits and water stains on the bathroom glass were noticeable eyesores.
Arriving late at night, we appeared to be the only guests, and the staff seemed somewhat surprised. Given the property’s beauty and historic charm, it definitely deserves far more visitors."
