"I stayed at Gule Hotel at Cunda Island on September 21, 2022. It was an excellent stay, felt like staying at a friend’s house. Hotel was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Most impressive were the staff, foremost Ms. Sehnaz, who is the proprietor together with her husband. She was always ready to help to make the guests’ experience perfect. She was always kind, courteous, graceful and never without a genuine smile. I am sure I will be back for a longer vacation. "

"A lovely boutique hotel in Cunda within walking distance to the marina, restaurants, market. Parking across the street. Delicious Turkish breakfast with generous serves. Staff were friendly and courteous. The standard room was a little small but comfortable. I’m sorry I don’t speak Turkish to thank them for our short but enjoyable stay. Cunda is quiet and relaxing away from the busy-ness of Ayvalik and a short distance further if thinking about a stopover. Make sure you go to Tas Kahve for Turkish coffee or gelato and watch the coffee beans being ground by a handsome Turkish man lifting a 33 kg weight!"

"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent booking through Hotels.com. We had reserved two rooms and received a confirmation, but upon our arrival, we were informed that no rooms were available.
Additionally, the hotel environment was unacceptable. The property was filled with strong smoke from a nearby restaurant, which permeated the rooms and made the atmosphere unbearable. The rooms smelled of smoke, and the cleanliness was also concerning: the bathroom was dirty, the amenities were lacking, and the sheets were covered in hair. As a result, I was forced to leave in the middle of the night.
Given this experience, I regret to inform you that I will no longer be using Hotels.com for my future bookings.
I would appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that improvements are made to prevent others from facing similar issues."
