"Beautiful house, very tastefully furnished. All amenities you could require available in the room. Great breakfast, both cooked and continental. Only 10 minute walk into Hereford and the trains and buses. Only slight criticism was some bits of maintenance needed in bathroom, black on silicon at bath taps, floor grouting needed attention and sink plug didn't fit properly. Sheila and Steve were super friendly proprietors, happy to do anything to ensure a great stay."

"A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens."

"An old building in the centre of Ludlow with the town easily accessible on foot and, for car drivers, a car park available on a first come, first served basis although getting in and getting out requires skilful driving through the narrow opening that was far more comfortable for horses and carriage! The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the dining room simply charming. The food was excellent crafted by a skilled chef and team and ably served by friendly and efficient staff. The memory of the stay will remain as a positive prompt to revisit in the near future."
