"Take light luggage to avoid carrying heavy bags upstairs. Book dinner when staying overnight as there are only a few restaurants open at night and a view .the shuttle bus drops you short if 600m from the island. You can’t drive your car on there. There is parking at an allocated hotel near shuttle bus."

"The hotel is well maintained and the staff is very professional. The property is conveniently located, and is close to the free shuttle bus stop to Mont St. Michel and the #2 bus stop which takes you back to the train station. Overall it’s a 10/10!"

"L’hôtel est très bien situé jusque en face de l’arrêt de la navette pour le Mont. SDB très spacieuse. Literie confortable. Bon petit dej et le personnel est très aimable. C’était parfait."

"What an amazing, beautiful, quaint place! The lobby and restaurant in the front are set in medieval style, which was so cool! The room was spa ious and had a bath tub. No real air conditioning, but we stayed for only 1 night. In the morning we had our coffee and fresh croissants in the beautiful, quaint yard set up with tables and canopies. This is a truly charming hotel in old-French style in a small French town. Just adorable!"

"I had a warm welcome and the gentleman at reception put my medication in a fridge for me. The lift was handy with bags, the corridors were very dark with light on timers. The double room was confortable big enough as I was by myself. I would have loved a complimentary bottle of water., because I’d walked from the station."

"Nous avons un bon week-end aux portes du Mont St Michel. La localisation est vraiment idéale. Le gite des Lades nous a permis de nous retrouver à 21 personnes confortablement. Toutefois, nous avons dû faire un peu de nettoyage avant d'en profiter : les meubles de la terrasse : salons - tables et chaises. L'électroménager est également vieillissant : frigo, four et cafetières. Ce qui nous a valu quelques déboires dans l'organisation de nos repas. Le propriétaire a dû nous mettre à disposition un autre gîte pour avoir un frigo opérationnel.Endroit agréable mais quelques points à revoir pour satisfaire à un bon rapport qualité prix."
