"This was perfect for a long weekend. We typically spend a lot of our time in Avon by the pier so this location was perfect for us. It was a slight tight fit because husband just *had* to bring several surf boards but it worked out just fine. Kitchen was stocked well and host was very informative of how to use the space the best. We would definitely stay again! "

"We recently stayed at this property and wanted to share some important feedback.First and most concerning: the bunk bed ladder in our son’s room had several loose nails. This is a serious safety issue—especially for a child’s sleeping area. Honestly, it’s hard to understand why nails were used instead of screws in such a critical fixture.Second, the dishwasher was completely nonfunctional during our stay. There was no water entering the unit, and it’s clear this wasn’t a new issue. It simply wasn’t working when we arrived, which was both inconvenient and disappointing.Additionally, the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected even briefly.While we appreciated Vacasa’s quick responses to our messages, unfortunately no actual action was taken to resolve the dishwasher issue. As a consequence I asked for a partial refund—and again, there was no follow-up.We booked this stay with the expectation of a safe and functional space for our family, but the lack of maintenance and meaningful support made it a frustrating experience. We hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences, but as it stands, we were deeply disappointed.Sincerely,Guido "

"Great location, and the house was roomy and comfortable!"

"To start the house on the beach was very convenient however making it over the dunes was a challenge to get to the beach with children and elderly. Entering the home it was clean however the little things wrong in the home was the biggest disappointment. The beds and pillows are not comfortable at all and the bed down stairs could not be slept in due to the fact the bed frame was sticking out of from underneath almost a foot just covered with the blanket so not seeing the frame my husband and i both busted our legs on them. The coffee maker did not work unless you held the top together for the entire process and then it wouldn’t stop so it couldn’t be used during the stay. The door handle on the microwave was broken off and missing so it was barley used. After taking a shower pulling the shower curtain back the whole rod fell and hit me it was literally just stuck in the wall. we did find outdoor bugs in downstairs bed and called about them. they did send pest control out to ensure us they were not bed bugs but only outdoor bugs that had gotten in. I just feel like spending your hard earned money on a house for a trip should be worth it and enjoyed and this house was just not that. Overall we were disappointed. "

"We had an incredible stay! The house was extremely spacious everyone had their own room and bathroom, which made it so relaxing. The beds and sheets were clean, the kitchen and dining room were roomy, and there were even extra spaces we didn’t use, like the sunroom and cozy nooks. The master suite was my favorite waking up to the sunrise from the balcony while sipping coffee was a dream. The beach was just steps from the backyard, which made it easy to take our Husky, Aspen, out without worry (we just rinsed her paws after). We never even turned on the TV or used the hot tub because we were too busy enjoying the views and peaceful vibe. The only suggestion: more blankets would have been helpful. Everything worked great, and having a washer/dryer was a bonus. We’d absolutely return!"
