"Amazing block of apartments that are in a super quiet location. Just what we needed. Apartments are cleaned daily and everything is spotless! The owner was fantastic and let us stay in our apartment for an extra day at a small cost, as we had a very late flight that evening. It was everything we was looking for. Only thing I would suggest is to have a few more kitchen utensils but apart from that it was perfect. Thanks for having us! "

"This property is amazing. Other reviews mention the proximity to the airport and that is true however that should not be a deterrent to staying at this amazing property. The rooms are beautiful, the view is beautiful, the staff are so accommodating and welcoming and friendly. I would love to have an opportunity to return to this property again one day!"

"One night stay whilst going off to villa. This is a wonderful hotel. All the staff and I m an all, were friendly, attentive. Chatty in just the right amount of subtly. Rooms excellent, comfortable, clean. Breakfast superb. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff. "

"Wonderful and glamorous villa. Great communication from our hosts. Close to the airport and the capital. The tourist season had finished so local places were closed but Argostoli is a short drive away with some great restaurants. Would definitely book again"

"Everything about this holiday was idyllic. We stayed in Villa Maria for 11 nights. After arriving at the airport Maria met us at a local petrol station and led us to the villa. There was a great welcome pack with a bottle of wine, bottles of water and beer in the fridge, and some milk. Herbs salt and pepper in the cupboards, all of the things that you quite often have to buy. Maria showed us around the villa, the doors and windows are all fitted with screens so you can let the breeze and keep the bugs out. The photos online do not do the upstairs master bedroom justice. It has a high beamed ceiling and is beautiful, with a lovely sitting out area. The pool area was what attracted us to the villa and it didn't disappoint. The pool was so clean and was well looked after by Maria's husband. Maria also left us a spanakopita (cheese and spinach) pie in the oven which was still warm. Later in the week she brought a home made moussaka which was a lovely touch. She is a warm and welcoming host and I would recommend the property to anyone. Just as a note, for great cocktails and drinks Crazy George's was excellent. We didn't eat there but it was friendly and the drinks were good. The two restaurants down at the beach To Enetiko and Avithos Preview were both good."

"Lovely location, close to airport , food excellent, staff very helpful and late checkout available There are planes flying close overhead- they dont come over early or late /about 5 per day Yes the hotel wants updating - however, it is authentic and any issues are swiftly rectified - we didnt have any issues. A mosquito detereant is available to use in each room. Phone Garden or sea views The pool is warm, there is no diving or jumping as no lifeguards present. There is a children's pool - children under 12 need to be supervised. If you are looking for a relaxing, nice time and as the day goes buy, with poolside bar and food this is the place for you. There is aircon in the rooms, phones and roomservice is daily. There is also a TV and fridge - no kettle provided (we didn't need one) Greek law states you must pay a local room tax oer night 1.3 euros The bus service timetable is in reception- the times are when it leaves its starting point, not when it gets to you. If you look out towards the sea, if you see the bus come round the road near there - you habe 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop out of the driveway turn right and its on the left to go to Argostoĺion or airport. Argostoĺion: 2 euros each Airport 1 euro each Armmes beach 700 yards - 15 minute walk (as receptionist for directions/ take note of where you are walking as buses and cars do go there too and all roads look similar) At beach when having a shower wear non slip shoes! Bar, food very good "

"Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. The local tavernas do takeaway food if you don’t feel like cooking but want to eat at the apartment. The swimming pool area is lovely and relaxing, no fight for sunbeds and plenty of sunny spots. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fairly rural and there is no centre to walk around in the evenings - just pitch black lanes, but there are restaurants nearby so plenty of places to eat. The nearby beach at Ai Helis is beautiful and only a 15 minute walk. Would recommend a car if staying for more than a couple of days. "

"I am giving 5 stars for Connie and Andy’s villa It is located in a quiet secluded location with a lovely pool. The sun shone for 7 days. It’s only a short drive to the beech and there is a restaurant there too. The local shop is a short drive and has everything you need. Andy was very helpful, not only suggesting places to visit but on hand if we needed anything. There is also an excellent taverna which you can walk to from the villa. I would definitely recommend hiring a car. Nice to see other parts of the island. Simon’s car hire was excellent. I would recommend staying at Connie and Andy’s villa. Thank you both."

"This is the 2nd time of staying here and it was like coming home! It was lovely to meet Nikki who was on hand easily over txt for any questions. The apartment is clean, well stocked and just so lovely! A car is a must by the way!! We will absolutely be back again! Thanks Nikki!!"
