"To say that the photographs of the apartment were misleading would be a misuse of the term. Totally mis-representational would be more appropriate (it was a completely different space). On arrival, there was no-one there to give us keys and no-one answered the phone when we tried repeatedly to call. Only after we hijacked one of the neighbours keys and left a message through the ski hire guy did we get a call at nearly midnight and finally got let into a room (not the one we booked). They...

"Loin des remontées, ascenseurs peu pratiques, appartement/mobilier/sanitaires vieux, literie peu confortable, piscine froide et jacuzzi interdit aux enfants ! La propreté n'est pas au rendez-vous, beaucoup de poussière en arrivant dans le logement. Le ménage n'est pas fait dans les parties communes et le comble, il faut nettoyer la cuisine alors que le ménage est censé être compris dans le prix. "A fantastic apartment in pretty town of Combloux. Very well equipped to a high standard. Beautiful views. Excellent shower and facilities. Very helpful friendly staff. A welcome bottle of wine etc was very much appreciated. Short walk to the town. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. "

"We had a very good stay at the Front de Niege in January 2018. The apartments are well equipped and the beds comfortable. They had recently refurbished the bathroom on ours and it was excellent, with a very powerful shower. The location is great for skiing. You can ski directly onto the slopes through the trees, and it's a 100 meter walk back at the end of the day. It is a 20 minute walk to/from the village, with the return being up-hill. There is a free bus, although this doesn't run past...

"The single bed mattresses and supplied pillows were very worn and uncomfortable. There was no cushion backing to one side of the table area, making it very uncomfortable to use. Our room was directly above the ski locker which was very loud. The air inside our accommodation was very dry so we had to take measures to increase the humidity at night. "View from the apartment was absolutely stunning. The apartment was comfortable, modern, and well equipped, and spacious enough for two for a week. Nice big bathroom with two sinks! Staff were friendly. On the down side, I do not think the integration with Expedia is very well thought out. The property seemed to have trouble contacting us or even responding to our messages, at one point telling me they didn't have my phone or email address despite somehow managing to send me marketing...
