"First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Karl and Agentas villa, the town of Laurens is a very sleepy area in the middle of a wine county. "House well equipped and comfortable. Access to UK programmes via Sky box appreciated, but no Wi-fi a bit disappointing. A few points I feel are worth making - I hope you’ll take them in the spirit they are offered: Lounge seating a bit uncomfortable. Pool clearly has a leak and needed topping up daily. Some light switches not very secure - one in particular is for the short hall leading to the 2nd bedroom. We enjoyed our 10 days here, allowing us to visit Soubes again after selling our villa...

"Everything about this property is lovely. It is nicely decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. We were visiting family and didn't have to cook any meals, but the kitchen is well equipped. We will have to come again when the weather is warmer to use the pool and enjoy the garden. I highly recommend it!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s a beautiful family home with excellent accommodation for our family of 4 adults and 1 child age 4. The house is very well equipped with everything necessary for our stay. It was spotlessly clean with plenty of fresh linen & towels available. The house is furnished with lovely traditional furniture. Needless to say, it was very hot whilst we were there and the swimming pool was a life saver! "We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa. The pool is amazing, and what a fabulous view from the terrace we will definitely miss that! The check in process was very straightforward and helpful. The area is stunning and there is lots to do if you like walking, cycling or canoeing. Day trips to Béziers and Carcassonne are also possible. The shop in the village is also worth a mention, it’s amazing and has everything you will need. Definitely 10/10."

Fantastic stay… can’t wait to re-visit!!☀️
"There just isn’t ANYTHING negative to say!!! We can’t wait to return :) Simon and Anna (the hosts) are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble and they are extremely discreet and leave you to enjoy your holiday… but there when needed with help or advise. The gite itself is spotlessly clean, had good quality furnishings and is decorated beautifully with lovely little features and extras. We slept soundly and thoroughly enjoyed making the most of the heated pool and bbq. The Star Jasmin was out when we visited and the beautiful fragrance drifted in the breeze… we will always remember it!!! I took a lot of pleasure from the garden with its fig, lemon, kiwi trees and flowers and the evening lighting/lamps that illuminated the area. We were provided with a great welcome pack with local wine, cheese, bread, ham, croissants and butter… but supermarkets are easily and quickly reached by car, or there is a bakery in the village. Two excellent restaurants close by (5-10 minute walk) and a wine bar also. We would recommend to all, just book you won’t be disappointed, and we plan on rebooking for next year!"
