"Friendly front desk staff, very helpful. But the room cleaning, if it can be called that, was sub par. Barely had clean towels every day, some days not. Dirty kitchenette towels were left from the previous occupants, these were not even cleaned for us. No toilet paper refilled. Trash was not picked up for days, and we had cockroaches in the room."

"Our stay was excellent. The rooftop bar was a bonus! Such a nice view and we had a gentle breeze. Room was clean and amenities were super nice. I felt cozy and clean after showering. Sometimes hotels have cheap shampoos etc. not this one. We Ubered to the Anthem but could’ve walked. We also walked to Union Station which was a really nice walk through quaint neighborhoods, and library of Congress. The walk was about 30min but goes by quickly on a nice day. Breakfast was good. Great coffee, purified water cooler was a nice added touch."

"Overall a good stay. Had a minor hiccup with check-in but host got me squared away. There were some signs of property damage beyond what I would call wear and tear but all the important things worked fine (fridge, stove, TVs, wi-fi, etc c.) The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty in the master bathroom. Towels and linens were nice but I didn’t find the couches comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the house was tidy."
Capitol Hill Row Home: 1 Block to Metro and Groceries -- and has Garage!

"Amazing location! About one block from a metro station and two blocks from Safeway grocery store. And it had a garage. We were able to park our car in the garage, leave it there for the week, and take Metro or Uber everywhere. Beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. We only made breakfast in the morning and frozen pizza once while we were there, but the kitchen was well stocked. We’ve stayed in other places in the past that had like one cookie sheet, and one measuring cup, and one mixing bowl, etc. This place had lots of everything if you wanted to cook while you were there. Communication was awesome. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area."

"Property gives off 2 star hotel vibes. Clean-ish. Comfortable-ish. Safe-ish. I would not choose to stay here again.The rooms and bed availability was as described. Plus for so many bathrooms and laundry w/ detergent available. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. There is a grocery store and a few fast food options nearby.We were a multi generation family on vacation with 2 seniors and 2 potty training toddlers. We needed the extra bathrooms but it was definitely a trade off for better accomodations. Like others noted, the property was surface level clean. There was just one tub of disinfecting wipes that I could find. I had to go purchase a cleaner. The glass table in the kitchen/dining area only seats 4. The dishes, cook ware, appliances, and such seemed to be just a random accumulation of unorganized and irrelevant items. Example, there were so many butter knives, several big tablespoons, 2 teaspoons, and 4 forks. I had to buy plastic forks. Several towels had stains/holes. Bedrooms and closets used as storage for random furniture and items. The closets were so stuffed that items were spilling out and made it impossible to close doors properly. The mattresses had an egg crate pad added but that doesn't cover up worn mattresses. All of the furniture is creaky and worn.In other reviews the owner says that visitors should have contacted her. I chose not to because I was managing a family on vacation. The unit should be ready for guests."
