"After an uncomfortable night at another hotel, we checked out early and found refuge at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Waxahachie—and what a wonderful experience it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt bright and welcoming. The summer-themed decorations and complimentary fruit punch instantly lifted our spirits. Maya at the front desk was an absolute gem—kind, efficient, and truly made us feel at home. We were given a first-floor room with a perfect view of the pool and conveniently located next to the gym. Though we were initially nervous about potential noise, we slept like babies. Even with the pool bustling, the room was peaceful and quiet. We had a chance to enjoy the pool ourselves, and the entire environment—guests and staff alike—was friendly and positive. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, and everything felt clean, safe, and thoughtfully run. The General Manager clearly sets a high standard for hospitality, and it shows. This will definitely be our go-to hotel anytime we’re in Waxahachie. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was very kind! The hotel seems older but the rooms are nice, clean, up to date. We didn’t eat the breakfast but it look we like the average free breakfast (which is fine with us). Definitely would stay again! Cleaning staff was great as well, polite, patient and good at what they do- hope they’re being compensated accordingly"

"Nice, clean room and bathroom. TV with DirecTV streaming. Closet area had plenty of hangers, iron and ironing board. Shower was hot with great water pressure. Washer and dryer in guest laundry room required quarters, which the front desk made available. Worked great! Pool was good, except for rail that is used to help you enter the pool. It was very loose. Use caution! Everything else was great!"

"The check-in experience was quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly. In the morning housekeeping was very friendly and the gal at the desk was helpful in being able to serve my need at that time. The room is very spacious with the microwave and refrigerator and a large TV, including a coffee maker. It was very quiet there and the bed was awesome. Very comfortable."
