"Amazing host was quick to answer any questions and super nice. Not intrusive at all but available and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable- especially the reclining sofa and the king bed. This is a working farm and the property is older and a bit rustic so be aware. Fully equipped and all appliances worked perfectly. The WiFi was blazing fast. The rooster will wake you early though if you are a late sleeper! The livestock guardian dog is the ultimate smiling greeter and such a sweetheart!...

"We were VERY PLEASED with our stay here. It is a family owned and ran hotel. Our room was newly remodeled and just lovely. The bed was super comfy and there was a walk in shower. The grounds are very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. We have family in Ennis and this will be our go-to place to stay when we are in town again. Exceptional stay!!!"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waxahachie by IHG

"It is a great location. They are in a lot with several restaurants and a Target. It was easy to walk to get a snack. The staff was nice and always attentive. The breakfast was good as well. I wished we had bacon there as well but that is a personal prefe. I highly recommend to stay here to anyone! "

"When we first arrived, we had some room accommodation mixups. But after some conversation by my friend and the staff upfront, it was all resolved. They were more than helpful and very friendly. They made our stay very pleasant. I would definitely return."
