"What a little gem of a find. Absolutely beautiful cottage right in the woods and yet a 5 min drive to town. Jack is a wealth of knowledge and there is bird and possum feeding at certain times. There are beautiful parrots, a goose, chickens and a free range rabbit. Kids would love this place and there is a play area for the littlies. "Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. "We stayed in what the property classifies as a Cabin. It was clean and fairly comfortable but the walls were very thin thus both internal and external noise was a bit loud. The location is very convenient for exploring the beautiful surrounds of Port Campbell, especially the twelve Apostles area. Next time we will book one of the Cottages which look structurally more substantive. "

"We stayed here for one night at the weekend with my baby girl, husband and 2 couple friends. The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever."

"The area is beautiful and the National park is well signed. The cabin was chilly but there was an electric radiator. No food available from the restaurant but food could be ordered by 4pm to be collected at 6pm. The meals were very good."

The property is very cute, clean, and had everything our family needed during our stay. The host, Sam, was very responsive and accommodating, meeting us there prior to check in so we could store our luggage. She also had many great local restaurant recommendations for us. "Enjoyable holiday, lovely view of the water from the shack, especially out on the deck. The shack was great and had most things you would need to cook meals etc. Nice secluded spot when we went at the end of April, would definitely recommend the little white shack for a restful getaway."
