"My family met in Geneva for the solar eclipse in early April, and this guesthouse was perfect for us. The house is cozy and welcoming, and it is updated and very well maintained. We cooked for almost every meal, and we enjoyed the selection of board games. No issues with TV and internet. We had nice weather, so we also took advantage of the porch, deck, grill, and firepit. "This was literally the only property available in GOTL when we made our reservation (for the eclipse). Dan, property manager, was helpful. Room was clean and well equipped. Room, however, was very small. The bunk bed arrangement was awkward. Would look for a bigger unit next time. "

"Perfect for 2 people. We had everything we needed for our visit. We enjoyed the quiet country setting. A nice grocery store was a short drive and Ashtabula was an easy drive. The purpose of our trip was to observe the total solar eclipse, but we made time to do a covered bridges tour. The trails to the river were enjoyable. Recommend this cottage."
