-No pets allowed. If you are traveling with a pet, reach out as we can help you find a pet-friendly place.
-To keep our homes beautiful, we ask that you not hang decorations on the walls. Tape, tacks, and other adhesives tend to peel paint and leave marks, etc. Glitter and confetti decor are also prohibited both inside and outside. Evidence will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250, plus the cost of damages to home.
-Enjoy a smoke, just not inside. Please ensure all doors and windows are shut and dispose of your ends in the outdoor trash bins. Indoor smoking will result in a sizable fine.
-Reservations made during Festivals and Conferences are non-refundable, i.e., SXSW, ACL, F-1, etc.

Very beautiful home!!! We enjoyed the backyard and the views from the picturesque point. It was private and spacious. The home was clean with lots of room for a big group. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The host was responsive and extremely helpful. We had a wonderful time!

The home is beautiful and we loved the location!! Plenty of space for our whole family to hang out, play games, and eat. There were some minor items we asked about, I didn’t feel like I got the quickest response but nothing that ruined our stay. Could have been a little cleaner but overall the place was amazing and we would come back for sure.

The place was great for a small family reunion for my mom‘s 75th birthday. There was plenty of space for us. They had everything you needed in the kitchen. The pool and views were wonderful. A few things that didn’t work (e.g. dryer, air hockey table puck, 2 rollaways) but they responded incredibly quickly and we really didn’t need those things so it didn’t detract from the stay. I’m sure they’ll be resolved before the next person. I’d recommend this place.

A good time with family, issues addressed

We stayed for 5 nights with ten people including young kids and grandparents and we had a great time together. We used the pool constantly, played air hockey, cooked, played board games, and watched movies (bring your own Roku though as the downstairs smart TVs have almost no streaming services). The location over the lake is beautiful and the house is nice and big.The house had numerous issues, the most important were quickly addressed by the management team (broken dishwasher, downstairs AC broke down, water shut off, air hockey table wasn't turning on, many bathroom towel bars had been broken off). Hopefully they can take care of things like the leak in the ceiling by the fireplace, the loose window in the upstairs primary, and the vanity lights in the downstairs bedroom at some point.Overall there were definitely some hiccups but it was still an enjoyable stay, mainly due to the responsiveness and attention of the management team (especially Deanna) and James on repairs.

Beautiful views, awesome pool

Home is very spacious. So many spots outside to enjoy coffee, cocktails, meals, nature. Kitchen is huge but could use a few items like big sauté pans and pot holders. Loved the pool and all the pool accessories available with nearby shower, restroom and lots of towels. Outdoor speakers could make a nice addition or a TV. Overall couldn't beat the views of the Colorado River and enjoyed birdwatching from patio.

School friends

We try to vacay at least twice a year together where we can just chill and relax, talk and play games. We had trouble with getting the family room tv to show many shows since the apps on it were not familiar to any of us. That was our only issue. There is some deferred maintenance on the decks that need to be done. It didn’t affect our trip at all. The beds were comfortable for our old bodies. We are all 72 years old.

Flawless weekend trip

The property itself is beautiful and views are stunning. Comms with property management were quick as well. It's a little far from downtown Austin but would definitely recommend this place to future guests!

Solid spot - but a ways out

Really beautiful views and an amazing pool. Easily accommodated 10 people with beds and rollaways. The location is pretty for the views but is 30-40 min from downtown Austin and it will take drivers a minute to get there. TVs are not set up for any streaming or live sports. Host is communicative and responsive. It’s an awesome place that could probably use a deep clean.

The views are worth it

The house is beautiful, the back patio could use some sprucing but was nice. The fire table outside was not functioning. The master bedroom deck felt unstable. There were carpenter ants in the kitchen. Otherwise, overall it was a great stay. Will definitely be back

Family Vacation

This house is in a great location with a spectacular view. Deanna, my point of contact was very prompt and attentive when I reached out. The family love the pool and just hanging out in the backyard during the day. The opportunities for this house are plentiful. The house needs a deep cleaning and some TLC. The master bath for example had a missing towel bar next to the sink which was in a box in the cabinet. The balcony outside the master was not safe to use as it had broken boards. The bath tub look like it had been painted. Some of the blinds were broken. The second balcony upstairs had railing collapsing and was wobbly if leaned on. There was a hole in the wall in the dinning room. The white couch has many stains and needs cleaned or thrown out. The pans to cook with looked like they were burnt and never cleaned. There was no vacum to use. The mattress needs replaced in the master and the carpets need cleaned. This house has so much potential for the location. For the cost of rental I expected a home that was better cared for.

Loved it!

As you can see from the photos, this place is beautiful. The view is breathtaking. The home is comfortable and nicely decorated. The drive through the neighborhood to get to the house is entertaining in itself. Through steep hills and valleys with picturesque views and cliffs. It is truly a 5 star property. Some of my favorites: large bedrooms with good mattresses and very nice bedding linens. The kitchen was immaculate and every dish and glass in the cabinets were spotless(not the case with many rentals). The common areas were comfortable with plenty of seating and nice lighting. The pool area was very nice, though maybe not quite as nice as the photos. It's a reach to come up with some negatives, but here it goes. Be aware that the upstairs has 3 bedrooms that have to share one bathroom. There IS a full bath on the main floor (in addition to an en suite in the main floor bedroom and a powder room on the main floor). Possibly not a big deal, but just wanted to point it out. Also, the lovely white furniture in the living room has seen better days. Many stains. Again, not a big deal. I also feel that it might be time for a little refresh in the outdoor area. And I wish the fire table was usable as we had some chilly days. The negatives are minutiae but just trying to be thorough. This place is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Book it! You won't be sorry.

Wonderful stay

Picturesque point is definitely an appropriate name for this house. Beautiful stay. We had a few families with small children for this stay and the house was large enough for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. Great indoor and outdoor areas. Would stay again

Great house - even better views

A group of girls and I spent a long weekend at this house. It was an amazing house with breathtaking views and a great pool. There was also great patio and deck space! It was about a 20 minute ride to Lake Travis and 35-40 minutes to downtown Austin. The house was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our time here!

Beautiful property

This is definitely a beautiful property. Like others have said, needs some major work on the outside and the pool needs work. We still had a wonderful time for thanksgiving with our family. Thank you for letting us stay here. The views are gorgeous!

Although Far View Drive is rather remote from any type of shopping district, most everyone from Shipt, Whole Foods to Total Wine delivers to the residence. Upon entering the residence, you instantly feel welcomed - it is quite lovely and a great place for family/friends to safely gather. The space is VERY open and it feels quite grand. The view from the lookout is obscene - just incredible. We loved being there and would definitely stay there again. The property could benefit from a mosquito spray (I was covered) and a better pool service. If we were disappointed in anything, it was the cleanliness/upkeep of the pool. I did contact the property manager about this and although he was trying to be super helpful (he was actually quite wonderful to deal with), the pool remained an issue for several days until it became apparent that the pool cleaner had been left off (Pool maint. people should have known this). The pool could also benefit from being resurfaced, the bottom is kind of rough - at this price point certain things are expected. The pool pictures are the only pics that don't seem current. Outdoors: Full circle drive No garage access 4 door entries to back patio area Pool Hottub Overlook deck (amazing at night) Gas grill 2 large dining tables with chairs Sectional seating Chaise lounges around pool Main Floor has: Washer/dryer Bed 1 - Master suite with 2 Qn beds and additional separate entry. 1/2 bath downstairs near kitchen and entrance to patio Full bath (kind of odd setup) with patio access and small fridge Large kitchen with great pantry, Keurig and regular coffee pot Large vaulted living room Large family room off of kitchen Upstairs has: Bed 2 - King Larger master suite, nicer bathroom, small fridge and closet (more grand) with a deck. Bed 3 - Qn Bedroom with unusable closet, lower futon type bed/mattress but acceptable Full hall bath Bed 4 - Qn Bedroom with deck Bed 5 - 2 Twin beds - lower height/futon style mattresses

Great house/location. Wonderful views and great amenities. Kids loved the pool and game room. Great getaway!
