This is a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a bar and restaurant on site and the bar was quite lively for a Monday night when we arrived. Our room featured a large soaking tub, tons of space, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country. Would highly recommend Hotel Viata to anyone staying in the Austin area.

Front desk and valet staff were friendly and courteous. Location was great for my needs. Nonetheless, lighting in room was insufficient, bathroom wasn’t cleaned one of the days, card reader ran out of battery locking me out and needed maintenance to fix it. Room service forgot cutlery.

We enjoy our stays here everyone is always so nice so accommodating and the food at the hotel is delicious. This trip did not disappoint. I will say that this trip the bed was super hard and the pillows were super soft but we enjoyed our stay have Ibuprofen and will stay here in again.

Room was nice but ligting throughout was dark. Restaurant was limited in selections and had to send my pesto back. The bucatini was not fresh and drenched in sauce. The staff was kind. Breakfast service had the server's kids at a table by themselves while she worked. Noticeable due to the low customer count and the child clanking dishes and silverware from neighboring tables. Probably still out on Christmas break. Location was not ideal for us but not the property's fault. I would have preferred someplace with walkable venues.
