"Our one night stay at Sandrine's place was a lovely surprise; I wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was the best yet. The room was impressive. What looked like a regular apartment behind a fence turned out to be quite an amazing experience. The garden was lovely, the room amazing, and our host's knowledge of Aude region of France guided us to some sights we might not have otherwise seen. Truly wonderful. "

"The house is well-decorated, very clean, and home-like. The bathroom was clean (the small bathroom was separate from the shower and washing room) and I loved the airy feel of the hardwood floors. The dining room where we brunch was also welcoming. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They offered us a discount for tickets to see the castle. "Had a lovely stay at La Betyna. Leila and Pasqal were great hosts, they provided restaurants and shopping recommendations in the Old City of Carcassone which is about 10-minute drive from hotel. Within walking distance theres the Chateau de Pennautier a winery-restaurants definitely worth a visit. Look forward to another stay at La Betyna."

"Séjour très agréable. Notre hôtesse nous avait prévenus de travaux extérieurs qui auraient pu déranger notre quiétude matinale. Elle nous laissait le choix de pouvoir changer de chambre à notre arrivée si nous estimions qu’en cela nous perturberait. Or, nous n’avons rien entendu. "The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
