"The pictures for this VRBO do not do it justice! We were looking for a spot for a girls weekend and had a pretty large crew. Upon arriving at the home, we were more than pleased with the size of the bedrooms and the house overall. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. The kitchen exceeded our expectations as well. We cooked all nights we were here and there were plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc. for us to use. The dining table was also larger than expected for us to all eat around. Our favorite part was the granary building with additional bedrooms/kitchenette/bathroom/living room. 4 of us girls stayed over there and it was like our own getaway from the main house. I definitely would recommend staying here and we will keep it in mind for future stays. The only things we didn't get to indulge in were the outdoor facilities since a snow storm had just come through earlier in the week. The views even with the snow were gorgeous and I can only imagine what it's like in the late spring/summer/fall. "

"Great kitchen space and well equipped as we made Thanksgiving dinner and plenty of casserole dishes for all the sides. A few more comfy chairs for living room would help with adult seating. Loved the game room and hot tub."

"Very nice cottage on the Lake. Spent time for Fall Colors, place was immaculately clean, had a friendly floor plan and was a great place for RR. Owner is very nice, made sure stay went seamlessly. Would def stay again! "

"We were sorely disappointed in this property. The smell of mildew was overpowering when we stepped into the home. We tried airing it out and using air fresheners but nothing worked for the entire week we were there. The home is an old vacation type with mismatched decor and tired fixtures. Dead bugs on the bed covers. Mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers. Had to wash all dishes and silverware before use. Floors were uneven and sloping. TV was very small. Towels were old and mismatched. Not one bar of soap. Two rolls of toilet paper. Lots of room for a larger family. Lake access is a walk down to a series of docks that say "do not enter". Location to area attractions is good. "

"This property was perfect for my husband and me. It is one of the cleanest rentals I’ve stayed in and it was centrally located for great access to Suttons Bay, Fishtown, Old Mission Peninsula, and of course Traverse City. I highly recommend this property!"
