"I think it all has to do with expectations. I think the main problem was it just lacked basic hotel items. No water kettle, no rubbish bin in the room, you had to pay for a coffee or tea yet there was no way to get any - same with water, luckily you can just drink the tap water. I think overall it would be a 5/5 if the hotel was rated 3 stars and was about 100 euros less a night"

"Am Zimmer hat mir der Ausblick auf den Monte Penna sehr gut gefallen. Es gab einen Erker, der komplett aus Fenstern bestand. Diese Glasfront hat jedoch auch dazu geführt, dass das Zimmer bei unserer Ankunft sehr warm klimatisiert war. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht und der Deckenventilator hat die Temperatur nicht senken können. Auch Beim Frühstück hat man am Morgen einen schönen Blick auf den Monte Penna. Der Service im Außenbereich der Bar war freundlich aber vielleicht nicht immer...

"Unbelievable hotel. The property was unique and had everything we needed..gym (small, but efficient), bar and restaurant) it was also central to our excursions as we did many hikes in the region. There were a lot of bikers staying so I assume it was great terrain for them as well. If you’re staying in the Dolomites, I would highly recommend this place. Shout out to Armand who took care of us at the bar!"

"Sehr angenehm, sehr bequem. Viellicht nur die Kopfkissen zu flach, und das Dampfbad war ausser Betrieb, aber es war eine super Erlebnis mit dem Personal und die Räumlichkeiten. Der Shuttle war in 2 Minuten auf die Pisten und alle waren immer bereit und freundlich."

"The room was perfect. We absolutely loved the village of San Vito di Cadore. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the bus stop, which was a huge plus for us. They even gave us a voucher for a complimentary drink at Baita Donarie, where the views are absolutely stunning. The only minor downside is that the rooms are not very well soundproofed. Overall, we highly recommend staying here."
