"I loved sleeping to the sound of the waves just outside the window. This hotel has personality and is well placed in the lovely lively yet civilised resort. It has a spa on the top floor where you can have a treatment looking out to sea through the jasmine and lavender. The staff members on reception were helpful and kind. The bar area is quirky and lovely and the restaurant looks over the sea. The tables are set with white linen and the food is good. There is just a promenade where people walk and children play but there are no cars in front of the hotel. The town has a historic area on top of a hill, a lovely bay and an interesting selection of independent shops — al within walking distance of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We really liked this property. Friendly welcome. Nice room, fridge with water was welcome. We chose a room with a balcony and partial sea view - good view with sea in the distance. Free chilled bottle of Prosecco was a great start to the stay! 10 minutes walk to the train station made it very convenient for us. I would definitely book again. "

"What a wonderful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, the second time in a month. It’s in a very convenient location, close to the train station and local shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the spacious one bedroom suite with fridge and microwave. The bedding is comfortable and we were provided with lots of towels. The breakfast is generous with a variety of choices including scrambled eggs. The coffee is excellent. We enjoyed the pretty garden at the front of the garden, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail. Thank you for remembering us when we returned for a second stay, we feel so welcomed at the Hotel Alexander."
