"Clean room and friendly staff "

"We loved the spaces for our multigenerational get together. We had 10 teens aged 16-21, parents and grandparents. There was private space for everyone to enjoy. The private cottage was great for the teen girls; we enjoyed the workout space (which was a renovated garage space); biking trails were close by for off road biking for some of the boys. We also enjoyed nearby Gardiner and Hallowell (10min) for the cute antique shops, hiking, and quintessential Maine stores and restaurants. Only downsides, which were minor, are that the water was shallow by the dock (some places you can feel the lake grass while swimming) and we could have used more covered deck space outside with the amount of people we had. "

"I'd never seen such an accommodating and responsive host in my life! Feras reached out frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. In fact, prior to our stay, we reached out with concern over the record high temps that were expected. So, even though the unit already has a strong mini-split system, he went out and got two brand new bedroom window AC units for us!The house was as expected and very comfortable. Everything in great condition. Two good sized bedrooms, comfortable living room large Roku TV. Gas kitchen, probably could use a few more pot/pan sizes, but other than that was fully stocked. New wood deck with grill, firepit, your own dock and paddleboats, kayaks and canoe. We took the canoe for a little spin around the lake. Soooo beautiful. Great location, right on the water, 7 minutes from Rt 95, gas stations, supermarket, coffee all a few minutes away, and a nice restaurant/brewpub a 1 minute walk.Neighbors are relatively close on the sides, so it's not like a wooded/isolated area, but we hardly ever saw anyone anyway. and we had more than enough space and privacy.Next time we stay in the area, we'll defiitely look for this unit"

"The staff at this hotel are genuine and welcoming. The room was comfortable and just what I needed to relax after a few stressful days. I enjoyed swimming some laps in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. My 9 year-old-niece was with me so I didn't get to experience the spa the way I would have liked. If I ever make it up to Maine again, I will make it a point to stop here again. But perhaps with my boyfriend."
