There was mold under the counter in our suite that we slept with all night. There were stains on the carpet. The toilet did not flush properly. I am not sure if the whirlpool tub was clean, dirty, or perhaps just needed to be resurfaced, but it definitely did not look clean. This was a very disappointing stay, although I was reimbursed for my stay when I showed the pictures.

I could say a lot about my experience due to this hotel being under a transition of remodeling it was an experience & within this it came out on top. The delicious goods are my favorite. The room was decent considering this is an older hotel property. I absolutely love I could streamline Netflix 😀 The breakfast was a hit or miss but it definitely improved on the next day. The Mgr was nice enough to offer dinner coupon and it was indeed worth it. The salmon was 10/10 meal. ( Thanks) I heard the seafood restaurant is coming back Oct 25. I would go back! Enjoyed my stay!

Staff was awesome especially the bar tender. Had issue when it comes to the room. The sink in the bathroom the cold nozzle is way too hard to turn on, when you do turn on the sink there’sa loud knocking sound which is really annoying. The toilet kept draining. So when the TV shut off automatically we kept hearing it. One more thing the time we started in was for handicap. Neither I or my spouse is handicapped but we were fine with it. I don’t agree how the bathroom is if we were handicap. There’s a bath tub. If I had my daughter that is handicap with us there would be no way we could get her in the tub as she’s way too heavy. How is a person that’s unable to walk get in and out of the tub/shower? It impossible. I don’t feel this room is handicap friendly. There was no vending machines as there is signs for them. Only ice machines. One elevator worked the other didn’t. It is what it is, but the staff was amazing, all super sweet and friendly.

Pretty much perfect. The only negative is housekeeping knocked on the door at 9am to see if we were still there, but checkout wasn’t until 12! They meant no harm, but it got us up and moving before we had planned to be.

The property was clean. The bed was great. The safety latch that stops the door from opening made it hard to gain access to the room. The shower had no hot water. The water was lukewarm at best. The staff was friendly. The property itself is definitely due for some updates.

No one likes to write a bad review because you get a sense that it will effect local employment. An immediate renovation should help this property and their staff who have to endure the number of complaints that stem from the units. Here's the facts from my experience. If I would have seen any of the issues I'm about to state there's no way I would have booked at this property. When you see the Hilton Brand and Double Tree with amenities such as indoor pool and conference room and weight room, you assume things will be up to par especially at slightly above market rates. This hotel has an early 2000's feel when compared to others I've stayed within the same brand. When I first walked in I noticed a stench to the unit and requested to be moved to another unit. When I walked in that unit I noticed that that it was just the way their units smelled. So I decided to stay at the assigned unit. The second thing I noticed was a stain on one of the comforters. Since it was a double queen I simply used the other bed. The third I noticed was that the thermostat to the unit was broken so I had no way to control the room temperature. The maintenance guy came and couldn't fix.The TV also didn't work they cited storms. As a recourse they comp a night stay. However to add insult to injury it appears they double bill me. They charged my credit card the one I used to hold the property and the card I provided when they asked to hold a card for incidentals.
