About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Cheerful, sunny historic stay

Welcome to Sand Hills, a sun-filled escape with huge antique windows, painted hardwood floors, and soaring ceilings. Decorative fireplaces, period lighting, and antique knobs provide charm and are balanced by new appliances, a rain head shower, a well-equipped kitchen, and a laundry area. It's within easy reach of the university, medical district, Augusta State University, Fort Eisenhower, the Cyber Center, the Augusta National, restaurants and coffee shops. This is an allergy-friendly home that accepts NO ANIMALS because of severe host allergies.

Newly renovated upstairs apartment with a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, everything you need to work, cook, clean, and rest. The entire house was renovated in 2023 and is located in the historic and sought-after Summerville neighborhood, known for its eclectic architecture. There are two lovely coffee shops within a mile where you can grab a bite, sit, or work. Across from each of those are restaurants with great cocktails, food, and atmosphere. There is plenty of on-site parking, and the neighbors are quiet. There is one flight of stairs to get into the apartment and a second set inside the apartment.

It saddens us to say that no animals of any kins are permitted on the property. We are aware of the value of service animals and understand the joy that pets bring. However, the home is strictly allergy-free because the host is allergic to animal hair and dander. There are no exceptions to this rule, as any animal on the property poses a severe health hazard to the host.

You have access to the entire upstairs unit.

We are just around the corner and are frequently nearby. Don't hesitate to text, email, or call with questions.

Historic neighborhood of Summerville with large trees and beautiful old homes.

There is only one door in and out. For fire safety, there is a fire ladder in each bedroom closet and the kitchen. The manufacture recommends reading the instructions.

This apartment does not have a dishwasher.

The kitchen cabinets are all higher than usual. Tall people may love this; others may need a foot stool.

The house sits on a busy road, and some traffic noise comes in through the windows. Some guests find the house quiet; others find the noise a bit loud. Each bedroom has a white noise machine to help mitigate this.

Every bed and all pillows have allergy encasements, and all bed linens are washed between guests. There are two firm pillows and two squishy pillows on each bed.
