"This is a nice smaller property. We spent one night after flying into Dublin. The room was comfortable and very clean. The house served a lovely breakfast in the morning and was very helpful regarding information around the area and places to visit."

It's only been a week and I miss it already. The scenery is breathtaking. It was a little tricky driving, but also my first time on the left. Slow and easy. "We stayed at Tudor Lodge for one night as we wanted to explore Glendalough and do some hiking. The lodge is charming and we were welcomed when we arrived and shown to our room. Breakfast (at an additional charge) is fresh and plentiful and the lodge sit in a lovely quiet area - it was raining so we didn't explore the property much. Bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was clean and it was well situated to explore Glendalough 5 mins away by car. Add'l tip - Wicklow Heather Restaurant is 2 mins away and serves great lunch/dinner options."

"The town of Arklow is a quaint, quiet little town, very walkable, a river nearby. The Hotels proprietor was a very friendly, kind, helpful man. Check in at the bar was quick, room was nicely renovated, it could have been the time of year but it was VERY quiet in the upstairs area, I felt like I was the only one staying there. There was a bountiful, delicious breakfast the next morning, a full Irish breakfast and I had a lovely chat with the barkeep....he had been working there for 50 years...amazing! The only tiny criticism I had was that I couldn't get any hot water in the shower, could have been I didn't wait long enough or just old pipes, but a hot shower would have been nice. I would recommend! "
