"The place was good with basic furnishings. Scandi means Ikea. Internet worked well. It was well located in the centre of Linlithgow which is close to Edinburgh and a lovely town. Lovely views of the loch and quiet. We received a couple of detailed, lovely and welcoming automated messages upon booking asking for our arrival and departure times to help with flexible check in or out. We were then very disappointed with the lack of hospitality from the host when we asked about flexible check out...

"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

"What can we say this place was amazing. The wonderful scent of the air freshener to how wonderfully clean the unit was. There was everything that we needed the deck with chairs was nice to have this morning having coffee. The host was easy to reach if we needed anything. "Firstly, this was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in. Comfy and cosy little escape which we really enjoyed. Used as a base for a few days to visit and perforn at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which was only 25 minutes away by train. The decor of the property was tasteful and the whole feeling was one of private seclusion despite being in a fairly busy area. Kitchen had everything you need for knocking up a quick meal, and the welcome pack of teas and coffees was welcome. Would recommend."

"Didn't get to stay at the apartment because of storm Babet. Travel was cancelled so we didnt make it. We asked for a possible refund and hotels tried to help but the owners dud not respond. We booked for two nights "

"The flat is ok-ish, clean enough I would say but definitely not a luxury apartment. It has a couple of cool things like the bathroom mirror, a couple of lights and some black furniture but that's about all the luxuries. How luxurious is it when you have to hand wash the dishes and why would you host up to 8 guests but only provide towels for a max of 4!?! On the host's defence this was mentioned in the house rules but still... The gym is actually a stationary bike in the living room, some...

"La peor experiencia de mi vida! Llegamos por la tarde al alojamiento, y me encuentro que la contraseña que me habían dado para poder coger las llaves, es errónea. De hecho ya el video que se me envía explicando como hacer todo el proceso, no tiene nada que ver con la realidad. Intento ponerme en contacto con alguien del alojamiento, vía telefónica y email, no contesta nadie... al final, forzando un poco, consigo la llave!(y menos mal, sino me quedo en la calle) Y continúa el desastre, la casa...

"Very nice and spacious living space that was clean and well kept. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the central part of Bridge of Allan with its shops and restaurants. Jane and her lovely dog Ivy were exceptional hosts."

"Fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to accommodate are stay. The retreat was luxury from start to finish with beautiful touches throughout the property to create the feeling of a home away from home. Wi-Fi connection was excellent and full cable services and digital apps available, which was perfect for rainy days. The beds where super comfy and I even returned home and purchased the same pillows that they had ! The hot tub and sauna where perfect after a day of skiing to come back to. I...
