"Excellent stay at this hotel. Ive had very mixed experiences with hotels over the years and this one has to be one of the best. Friendly helpful staff, clean and contemporary decorated rooms and public areas. The room was a small suite with a well equipped kitchen area, microwave, hotring,fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Spacious bedroom with a sofa. Large shower room/toilet. Lots of arty touches to give a nod to the buildings previous use as a mill. Very comfortable and 5 min walk from bus station and 10 min walk from train station and town centre, though you do have to pay for your car overnight and there is limited parking. Breakfast was included and was great with fresh hot and cold food buffet style. Would highly recommend this place and intend to use it if and when i return to Dundee. "

"I like Station hotels I’ve stayed in 5 but Carnoustie is the best , unfortunately on this occasion I took ill and they went over and above to assist me on a medical emergency, luckily everything was fine ,,, but regarding the hotel the food was first class the rooms are spotless , will be back in the near future "

"Amazing stay. Historic house set in beautiful grounds. Amazing that they allow dogs also in such a nice place. Fantastic sand beaches right next to the hotel. Service was excellent, really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Breakfast was delicious…. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had. An EV car charging point would make this hotel even better as there’s hardly any around in the area and would be great for over night guests to charge whilst there. "
