"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."

Restaurant evening meal was adequate and fairly priced, breakfast was plentiful, good quality and included in rate.Loads to do in the surrounding area without getting back in the car. Don't forget that you are in an important World Heritage site."
