"We stayed one night for a wedding in neighboring Humboldt. The location is remote, but not so far off the beaten path that it's hard to get out and about. We showed up to a homemade coffee cake and casserole for breakfast and a basket of snacks as well, which was unexpected and so nice! Drinks and fruit were in the fridge, too! We watched a movie and played cards that night. The size of the place was perfect for 4 adults. Nice upgrades to the bathroom, including nice linens. Everything was clean and comfortable. The AC was a much needed respite from the humidity! Debbie was responsive and helpful. She was great at anticipating little things that made a big difference! It was a nice, quiet escape from the grind. We will certainly stay again! Thank you, Debbie!"

"The Hamburg Inn & Suites are fantastic. The room was enormous and impeccably clean. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good with pancakes, eggs, sausage/bacon, cereals, etc. Very nice place to stay. I highly recommend it, but be sure to leave time to explore. Hamburg is a very small rural town. However, it's very near the Loess Hills, which run the entire western side of Iowa. We spent several hours after we checked in, exploring. Absolutely gorgeous part of the world. Wild flowers everywhere, many bird species, beautiful corn fields, rivers, etc, etc."
