This is a great historic home. The owner was very friendly and kind. Only complaints were no tissue in the bathroom, and house was quite cold.

Eclipse overnights

We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!

We never encountered anyone. Supposed to be bed and breakfast. There was no one around so not sure how we were supposed to get breakfast. Creepy that the front door was left open for us and I was instructed not to lock it. Sheets stunk bathtub was dirty. Beautiful home but that does not cut it. Would not recommend or ever stay again

Jos pidät vanhojen talojen tunnelmasta, on Munroe Inn valintasi. Tunnelmallinen ja ystävällinen majoituspaikka. Huone oli kaunis, sänky hyvä nukkua ja kaikki tarvittava oli saatavilla. Auton saat parkkiin ihan viereen ja kävelymatkan päässä on kauppa ja muutamia ravintoloita.Majapaikan emäntä antaa hyvät vinkit ruokapaikoista Meille tuli muutoksia matkaan, joista ilmoitimme vasta majapaikassa, mutta sekin järjestyi kädenkäänteessä. Kaikenkaikkiaan erinomainen paikka yöpyä, tulisimme uudestaan.

We had a lovely stay at The Munroe Inn. We were greeted warmly by our host and she graciously gave us recommendations in town for dinner. It’s a great place to walk to the city and stroll along the river walk. Our bed was so comfy that it was hard to get up in the morning! We opted for the extra charge breakfast and it was great. We’ll be back!

This inn was an absolute gem. Olga graciously accommodated our late check in, was kind and friendly, and served an amazing breakfast that was both delicious and inventive. The space itself was filled with art and color, paintings lining the walls, coordinating and complimentary colors and textures filled the space with a unique vibe. I would absolutely recommend staying here, even if you’re just passing through Auburn.
