"Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend."

"Fantastic place! Big, comfortable room and large shower room with separate toilet. Very clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was set out for me, nice fresh bread and croissants, jam, yoghurt, strawberries and more. Exceptionally good value, less than an hour from the Eurotunnel."

"Set in the beautiful village of Tortefontaine is this little haven of a property. Irene, Norman and Charlie the dog were extremely welcoming. The place and surroundings are just perfect for a quiet relaxing stay. We will look forward to returning!"

"This was a fantastic longere in the countryside, its was a 10-15 minute drive to nearest bakery and supermarket. It had a fabulous, heated swimming pool, which was very useful with small children and the good weather. The large garden was a little disappointing as they had let the grass and shrubs grow wild and we couldn't sit in the shade under the trees as advertised. "
