"Our hosts greeted us very nicely and were responsive to our messages about our arrival time and our request for information about the municipal water issue that occurred on one of the days we were there. The house is much nicer in actuality than what you see in the photos, and so is the garden. "The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."
